How This Site Is Written And Paid For
An independent publication about one gummy. Here is the standard the pages are held to, and where the money comes from.
What This Site Is
alkatiede.com is an independent publication covering a single supplement. It is not the manufacturer, not the seller and not a medical service. Nobody here can take an order, change one or refund one.
The whole site exists to answer one question properly: what is actually in this bottle, and does the evidence support what the box says. Six ingredients, six pages, one verdict each.
Where The Facts Come From
Four kinds of source, in this order of priority.
- Government health bodies. The NIH Office of Dietary Supplements and NCCIH, because they publish plainly and they say when evidence is weak.
- Regulators. The FDA on how the category works, the FTC on what advertising is allowed to claim.
- Systematic reviews and meta-analyses. Preferred over single trials, always.
- The product label itself. Read directly rather than paraphrased from a sales page.
What is refused: other affiliate sites, press releases, anything with "studies show" and no study attached, and any claim whose only source is the seller.
House Style
Plain words. Sentences that end. A stated confidence level on every claim rather than an adjective. Where the evidence is weak, the page says weak — there are two of those on the ingredient panel and they are marked.
Depth over volume, because depth is the only thing that helps somebody decide. A page that takes eight minutes and answers the question beats four pages that take two minutes each and do not.
How This Site Earns
Order buttons lead to the official checkout. A purchase made through one can earn this site a commission, at no extra cost to the buyer. That is disclosed in the footer of every page on the domain.
An honest reader will ask what that does to the writing. The answer is on the pages: two of six ingredients are graded weak, the sugar content is stated on the front page, the tooth enamel problem gets its own article, and the benefits page refuses three claims the packaging leans on. A site optimising purely for conversions does not publish any of that.
Refused, without exception: guest posts, link exchanges, sponsored placements and paid reviews.
Corrections
Point at the sentence, say what is wrong, and send it to desk@alkatiede.com. A correction that checks out gets made quickly and a note goes at the foot of the page it affects.
This matters more on a health topic than on most. Formulations change, prices change, and research moves. A site that never publishes a correction is not a site that is never wrong.
What This Site Will Not Do
- Publish a star rating there is no review system to support.
- Use countdown timers, fake stock counters or invented "regular prices".
- Say FDA approved. Supplements are not, and the badge on the box means the facility is registered, which is a different thing.
- Present the customer comments as anything other than illustrative.
- Give medical advice. That is a pharmacist or a doctor, and the safety page says what to ask them.
What this site can do is set out what is known about each ingredient, with its dose and its evidence grade, so you arrive at that conversation already briefed. That is a narrower job than most supplement sites claim and it is one that can actually be done well.
Questions About This Site
The follow-up questions this section usually produces.
Do you sell Alkatide?
No. This is an independent publication with no access to the seller's systems. Order links go to the official checkout.
How does the site make money?
Through an affiliate commission on purchases made via the order links, at no extra cost to the buyer. The arrangement is spelled out in the footer that appears on every page of the site.
Does that commission change what you write?
The pages are the evidence either way. Two of six ingredients are graded weak, the sugar is stated on the homepage, and three common claims are explicitly refused.
Who writes the pages?
An in-house desk. No guest posts and no sponsored placements are accepted, which is the only way a sourcing standard can be enforced.
How do I report an error?
Email the address on this page with the page address, the sentence as it reads and what it should say. Verified corrections are made quickly and logged in public.
